Job summary

AirTrunk, a leading hyperscale data centre company based in Singapore, seeks a Senior Manager, Tax to shape and execute the region's tax strategy. You will partner with regional teams and leadership to influence direct and indirect tax planning and compliance across the APME region.

You will lead corporate income tax, consumption tax, withholding tax, and transfer pricing matters, advise on complex transactions, and support governance, Pillar Two reporting, and international tax initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Big 4 and in-house roles.
• Proven track record of adapting in a fast paced environment.
• Appropriate professional qualifications (CA, CPA, Accredited Tax Practitioner or Accredited Tax Advisor or equivalent).
• Proven ability to work independently to execute on strategic priorities.
• A self-starter with a growth mindset.

Responsibilities

• Leading APME tax matters across corporate income tax, consumption tax, withholding tax, employment taxes, and transfer pricing.
• Advising the business on complex transactions, structuring, financing arrangements, and new investments relating to APME.
• Providing technical analysis and practical recommendations on tax law developments and tax risks impacting the Group.
• Managing relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and tax authorities, including support for tax audits, reviews, and enquiries.
• Supporting the Group’s tax governance framework and ensuring appropriate controls and processes are implemented.
• Supporting Pillar Two, Country-by-Country Reporting, and other international tax initiatives.
• Leading strategic tax projects in APME, including process improvements, and automation initiatives; and
• Collaborating closely with regional and global tax teams to ensure consistency of tax positions and alignment with Group strategy.

As Senior Manager , Tax based in S ingapore , you will work closely with various teams and leadership across the Asia Pacific region, making your mark in a number of ways:

• b e part of shaping our approach to tax in a rapidly expanding regional business
• with a focus on advisory work, you will cover the full spectrum of tax working on matters covering direct tax, indirect and other tax es (transfer taxes, employment taxes, prope rty taxes etc.), as well as transfer pricing.

Your Day to Day

In this role, your responsibilities will include:
