Job summary

AirTrunk, Singapore HQ, seeks a Contracts Specialist - Operations to oversee outsourced services and contracts for data centre sites in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. You will develop and review contractual documents, support tendering, negotiate terms, and manage claims and variations to ensure operational excellence across the region.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, coordinate performance reviews, and drive cost reporting while supporting multiple capital

Qualifications

• 5+ years of contract management experience in property or infrastructure development, especially commercial aspects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across internal and external parties.
• Experience with real estate facilities or property management contracts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and manage contractual documentation for data centre operations.
• Participate in tender preparation, scope review, evaluations and recommendations.
• Support negotiations, contract administration, variations and disputes.
• Assist with claims management including payment claims and invoices.
• Support Data Centre Operations teams on commercial and contract matters across Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
• Coordinate vendor performance reviews and track compliance and metrics.
• Contribute to cost reporting and contract management process improvements.
• Lead multiple projects for capacity expansion and capital improvements; travel as needed.

Your Impact

As the Contracts Specialist - Operations based in our Singapore HQ, you will report to the Senior Contracts Manager - Operations and work closely with various teams and leadership across the Asia Pacific region, making your mark in a number of ways:

• Oversee and manage outsourced services and contracts within Property Operations covering Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong regions.
• You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth contract administration and contribute to the operational excellence of our data centres.

What You'll Do

• Assist in developing, reviewing and managing contractual documentation.
• Participate in tender preparation including the review of scope of works, tender evaluations, and recommendations.
• Support negotiations and contract administration processes including for variation and dispute resolution.
• Support claims management i.e. review claims including payment claims, invoices, variations, time-related claims and the like.
• Support the respective Data Centre Operations teams in all aspects of commercial and contract matters across the entire lifecycle of AirTrunk data centres in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong regions.
• Support and coordinate vendor performance reviews, and other vendor management processes such as tracking of performance metrics and compliance.
• Cost management and cost reporting across all active contracts and services.
• Assist with developing and streamlining contract management processes and tools to improve contract management effectiveness.
• Assist with process implementation, initiatives and continuous improvements aimed at increasing time and cost efficiencies of our data centre operations.
• Concurrently, manage multiple projects including preparation of support for new data centre capacity and capital improvement projects associated with our existing data centres.
• Local and regional travel to data centre sites may be required at times

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Contracts Management, Facilities Management, Quantity Surveying, Business, Engineering or relevant equivalent discipline.
• Minimally 5 years of strong contract management experience in property or infrastructure development field - particularly in commercial aspects, including contract preparation, negotiation, administration and dispute resolution.
• Good communication skills with strong stakeholder management covering both internal and external parties (vendors).
• Experience in real estate facilities or property management contracts preferred.
