Job summary

NTU invites applications for the role of Assistant Director, Student Community Engagement within the Student Affairs Office. You will lead 60+ clubs, shape the Community Engagement Framework, and drive partnerships to enhance student vibrancy.

The role oversees governance, budgeting, and learning outcomes, while guiding student leaders and collaborating with internal offices and external partners to deliver impactful, inclusive programmes across campus.

Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline with at least 10 years of relevant experience in student development, community engagement, programme management, or related public/education sectors.
• Minimum 3 years in supervisory role with demonstrable leadership of teams and multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Strong programme design capability with proven ability to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation and influencing skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong governance mindset; comfortable with budgeting, compliance, and grant stewardship.
• Resourceful with analytical skills, operationally strong and detail-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with digital systems and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of community and interest-based student clubs and their activities.
• Lead year-round planning and delivery for 60+ clubs and initiatives.
• Drive the NTU Community Engagement Framework toward stated outcomes.
• Build partnerships with internal staff and external organisations to sustain student-led initiatives.
• Govern and report on budgeting, grants, KPIs and social impact indicators.
• Supervise and coach a team with clear KPIs and workload allocation.
