Job description
Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Finance to join our Strategic Finance team and drive financial excellence across the SCH Group. Your financial expertise will contribute to the delivery of quality patient care. You will support our Senior Assistant Director and CFO in the following Finance areas:

SCH Group Financials
  • Ensures timely completion of month-end and year-end closing processes and accurate financials captured for Sengkang Community Hospital (SKCH) and at Group Level
  • Reviews the analysis of budget variances and expense trends for SKCH and at Group level
  • Consolidates and prepares monthly and annual financial statements, statistics and management reports with comparative and trend analysis
  • Manages the annual audit process with external auditors, reviews audit pack submissions, and corporate tax computations
  • Coordinates with stakeholders on Service Level Agreements and assists in fee negotiations with service providers
SCH Group Budget (Budget Planning & Coordination)
  • Leads the Group-level budget process, preparing templates and coordinating submissions from business units
  • Consolidates and reviews budget returns, recommends strategic adjustments for Group sustainability and prepares group materials for budget review and approval by Management and Audit Committee
Team Leadership
  • Leads and develops staff, setting clear goals whilst managing their career development
  • Fosters teamwork and maintains high team morale through effective leadership and mentorship
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
  • Membership with professional bodies such as ISCA or ACCA is preferred
  • Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in Business/Finance with at least 2 years’ experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
  • Demonstrated experience in financial planning, group reporting, and variance analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to secure stakeholder buy-in
  • Collaborative team player with ability to work independently
  • Able to thrive in dynamic and fast-paced environments and navigate challenging situations
