Job summary

SINGAPORE LNG CORPORATION PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned professional to drive selected LNG & New Energy infrastructure projects in Singapore. The role demands deep techno-commercial expertise and leadership across cross-functional teams to shape strategy, financing and execution.

Experience in SG projects, especially Jurong Island, is an advantage. The candidate will coordinate with management and boards, ensuring safety-focused design and robust project governance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Techno-commercial experience in LNG and/or New Energy project development (SG experience advantageous).
• Minimum 10 years for Manager; Minimum 15 years for Senior Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead key LNG and New Energy infrastructure projects as primary project management driver.
• Bring techno-commercial expertise in LNG and/or New Energy project development.
• Advantage if candidate has SG/Jurong Island project experience.

• Plan overall project strategy, schedule, structure, and budget.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Main responsibility (75% of time) of the successful candidate is to play a key project management role within the company to drive selected key/critical LNG & New Energy infrastructure projects.
• Successful candidate will be an experienced professional with deep techno-commercial experience in LNG and/or New Energy project development.
• (Prior experience of SG or Jurong Island projects will be an advantage)
• Responsible to drive overall project outcome for company, coalescing efforts from wide multi-functional team to deliver project strategy/business basis, commercial structuring & financial modelling, as well as collaboration with operations/technical team to meet feasibility/engineering studies, EPC tender strategy & execution objectives.
• Plan and own the overall project strategy (both commercial and technical), schedule, organization structure and resources/budget required.
• Plan and lead project stakeholder management & communication strategy for key internal stakeholders (such as Management and Board) through the various gated project development steps, including regular update & approval papers, investment proposals and evaluation.
• As SLNG is a critical LNG infrastructure for SG, a sound technical/process appreciation and commitment around the risks/requirements of safe and reliable design/operations of the LNG Terminal will be an advantage.
• Where required (25% of time), the successful candidate will also participate and support business development of New Energy opportunities (e.g. Bio-LNG, LNG Cold Energy applications, Ammonia, CCUS), through key partnerships and MOUs.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Techno-commercial experience in LNG and/or New Energy project development (prior SG projects experience will be an advantage).
• Minimum 10 years for Manager position; Minimum 15 years for Senior Manager position.
• Candidates with strong LNG or Oil & Gas technical/operational backgrounds, with an ambition to gain exposure in techno-commercial roles are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to develop concise stakeholders messaging and pitch, and with ability to organize multi-functional efforts across the company.
• Able to manage and de-conflict competing priorities situation, with an agile and flexible problem solving approach.
• Able to provide integrity leadership, coaching and development for junior team members.
