Job summary

SEARCHASIA CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a senior procurement leader to oversee end-to-end procurement operations, establish governance frameworks, and drive supplier performance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure uninterrupted material supply and alignment with business priorities. You will lead a high-performing team, manage budgets, analyze KPIs, and pursue cost efficiency through transformation and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Engineering or Supply Chain
• At least 8 years of leadership experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, operations, or manufacturing
• Strong financial, analytical and business acumen with budgeting experience
• Experience in governance, policy setting and performance management

Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end procurement operations, ensuring efficient execution of purchasing activities, supplier commitments, and uninterrupted material supply across the business.
• Establish procurement policies, operational standards, and governance frameworks to ensure consistent execution, compliance, and best practices across all purchasing activities.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage delivery commitments, identify supply risks and capacity constraints, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
• Drive procurement transformation through process optimisation, automation, data integrity, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service levels, cost efficiency, and execution quality.
• Track procurement KPIs, analyse operational performance, maintain master data accuracy, and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership on procurement effectiveness and supply chain readiness.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing procurement operations team, driving succession planning, capability development, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Partner closely with Supply Chain, Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Procurement teams to align purchasing activities with business priorities and deliver operational excellence.
