RSVP Singapore is seeking an experienced, driven and relationship-oriented individual to join our team as Senior Manager, Partnerships & Fundraising.
The role will play a key part in strengthening RSVP Singapore’s financial sustainability by developing strategic partnerships, identifying new funding opportunities, cultivating donor and stakeholder relationships and supporting the organisation’s fundraising and partnership objectives.
The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter who is comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, developing funding proposals, presenting RSVP’s programmes and impact and converting opportunities into meaningful and sustainable partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic fundraising and partnership work plans aligned with RSVP Singapore’s organisational priorities and long-term sustainability goals, guided by the organisation’s fundraising framework.
- Proactively identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities, including grants, corporate partnerships, sponsorships, philanthropic giving and other potential funding avenues.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline of prospective donors, funders, sponsors and strategic partners, from initial engagement through to proposal development, negotiation and partnership closure.
- Cultivate, strengthen and maintain relationships with existing and potential individual donors, corporations, foundations, funding agencies and other key stakeholders.
- Develop compelling funding proposals, presentations, concept papers and other materials that effectively communicate RSVP Singapore’s programmes, impact and value proposition.
- Work closely with internal teams and programme leads to understand organisational needs and translate them into compelling partnership and funding propositions.
- Represent RSVP Singapore at meetings, presentations, networking sessions and other stakeholder engagements.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising approaches and continuously refine strategies to improve outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of donor, funder and partner engagements and ensure appropriate stewardship and follow-up.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust, influence and establish meaningful relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong business development and relationship management capabilities, with the confidence to identify opportunities, initiate conversations and develop partnerships.
- Proven ability to work independently and proactively, with strong planning, organisational, project management and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop persuasive proposals and articulate RSVP Singapore’s programmes, impact and funding needs effectively.
- Ability to engage and communicate confidently with senior executives, corporate leaders, donors, funders and community stakeholders.
- Results-oriented and target-driven, with the ability to manage a fundraising pipeline and work towards measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated learning agility, adaptability and initiative, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Experience in fundraising, business development, partnerships, sales, stakeholder engagement or event management is preferred. Experience in the social service or non-profit sector would be an advantage.
- A sales or business development background would be beneficial.
- Effective bilingual communication skills would be an advantage.
