Job summary

Pepperl+Fuchs Asia Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Senior Manager, Industrial Engineering, Global Project Office to lead and develop our global project organization for new product industrialization and manufacturing transfers.

You will drive technical leadership, ensure reliable project execution, and coordinate with R&D, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain across international sites, with travel as needed. Fluent English and strong stakeholder influence are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Several years of leadership in international engineering/manufacturing.
• Strong background in electronics manufacturing, industrialization, NPI, or transfers.
• Proven project and portfolio management, resource planning, and performance steering.
• Leadership presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders in a global matrix.
• Fluent English; willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop our global Project Leaders in Supply Chain, strengthening their technical expertise and cross-functional collaboration.
• Oversee the global portfolio of new product industrialization and manufacturing transfer projects, ensuring transparency on priorities and resources.
• Drive reliable project execution regarding milestones, costs, risks, and governance; escalate where needed and drive corrective actions.
• Continuously improve project management standards, procedures, roles, deliverables, and governance.
• Drive effective collaboration with Portfolio Managers, R&D, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, resolving conflicts and ensuring results.

Senior Manager, Industrial Engineering, Global Project Office

Role Purpose:

As Global Head of Industrial Engineering – Project Office, you will lead and develop our global project organization for new product industrialization and manufacturing transfers. Your mission is to strengthen technical project leadership, ensure reliable project execution, and drive performance across our international manufacturing network.

Role Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership & People Development: Lead and develop our global Project Leaders Supply Chain, strengthening their technical expertise, engineering judgment, and ability to challenge cross-functional teams.
• Global Portfolio & Resource Management: Oversee the global portfolio of new product industrialization and manufacturing transfer projects, ensuring transparency on priorities, capacities, resource conflicts, and project commitments.
• Project Performance & Steering: Drive reliable project execution regarding milestones, Start of Delivery (SOD), costs, and risks. Challenge project performance, initiate corrective actions, and ensure effective management reviews and escalations.
• Project Standards & Governance: Continuously improve project management capabilities and ensure consistent application of project procedures, roles, deliverables, and standards.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Drive effective collaboration with Portfolio Managers, R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and global management. Resolve conflicts, challenge decisions, and ensure results are delivered according to Pepperl+Fuchs standards.

Role Requirements:

• University degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Several years of leadership experience in an international engineering or manufacturing environment, ideally leading technical project managers.
• Strong technical background in electronics manufacturing, industrialization, NPI, or manufacturing transfers, enabling you to challenge technical decisions and project risks.
• Proven expertise in project and portfolio management, resource planning, and project performance steering.
• Strong leadership presence, assertiveness, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders within a global matrix organization.
• Structured, analytical, and results-oriented mindset, combined with excellent communication and intercultural skills.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel internationally.
