Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks a Senior Manager to lead global deviation management for Front-End manufacturing and central organizations. You will drive strategy, governance, and digital transformation to reduce quality events and strengthen process discipline.

The role requires broad semiconductor quality expertise, global stakeholder leadership, and the ability to translate data insights into scalable programs with a focus on AI-enabled quality management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Science, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Extensive experience in quality engineering, process engineering, manufacturing, deviation management, yield improvement.
• Proven success leading strategic quality, operational improvement, or transformation programs in a complex, high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop technical teams, including performance management, mentoring, talent development, and succession planning.
• Strong expertise in structured problem solving, root cause analysis, risk assessment, statistical thinking, and data-driven decision making.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional and global stakeholders, align priorities across matrixed organizations, and drive execution through ambiguity.
• Experience using advanced analytics, automation, AI, or digital solutions to improve quality, productivity, reliability, and business performance.
• Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing fundamentals, including deviation management, SPC, process capability, quality systems, reliability systems, and process or device fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Lead global deviation management governance across FE sites and central organizations.
• Drive adoption of best-known methods to improve detection, containment, and closure quality.
• Lead global stakeholders in benchmarking performance, identifying gaps, setting targets, and tracking progress.
• Govern deviation-related tagging, reporting discipline, and data alignment to improve transparency and decision quality.
• Facilitate workshops, quality forums, and knowledge-sharing across sites.
• Lead global programs to reduce non-conformance and quality events across Front-End manufacturing.
• Partner with site teams and central organizations to establish targets and governance routines.
• Build partnerships with Process Integration, Process Engineering, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Equipment Engineering, and Quality teams.
• Define and track KPIs for actionable insights with leadership stakeholders.
• Develop digital analytics, automation, and AI-enabled strategies to improve quality management.
• Lead the team in applying digital tools and predictive analytics to identify risks and improve productivity.
• Translate data insights into scalable governance actions and solutions.
