Job summary

Airwallex (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Expansion, CEO Office, to own end-to-end expansion into new APAC markets.

You will define market-entry strategies, licensing paths, and product readiness, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Legal, Risk, Finance, and Operations to position Airwallex as a local financial platform. You will work directly with executive leadership to solve regulatory, product, and operating challenges required to establish a local footprint in

Qualifications

5-8 years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting (MBB or equivalent) or strategic/expansion roles in fintech/payments.
Proven track record owning complex, multi-stakeholder programs end to end including updates to executives.
Strong discipline for multi-workstream programs, governance cadences, and cross-functional dependencies.

Responsibilities

Own new country expansion strategy across APAC: size opportunity, select markets, define execution plan.
Design market entry model: licensing path, entity structure, commercial model, and regulatory alignment.
Shape product roadmap to translate regulatory/licensing needs into concrete scope and sequencing.
Drive executive decisions and present market prioritization and readiness to CEO Office leadership.
Build operating system for launches with AI-assisted research, licence mapping, dashboards, and automation.
Run governance for go/no-go and launch readiness with cross-functional sign-off and risk mitigation.
Tackle priority CEO Office initiatives beyond market launches as required.
