Job summary

amethyst asia partners pte. ltd. is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance based in Singapore to lead accounting and financial reporting for the firm's entities. The role reports to the regional CFO and collaborates with auditors, tax advisers and service providers to ensure regulatory compliance.

You will oversee month-end/ year-end close, budgeting, cash flow, consolidation and investor reporting across the group, with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach in a fast-paced fund environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline, with a recognised professional qualification (CPA/ACCA).
• At least 10 years of finance and accounting experience in asset management (private equity, venture capital, etc).
• Experience in corporate accounting and private equity fund accounting.
• Experience in consolidation and group reporting.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, team-oriented, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for senior stakeholders and external service providers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and financial reporting for the firm's management company, GP and related entities.
• Manage month-end and year-end closings, financial statements, management reporting and analysis.
• Coordinate consolidation of accounts across entities for group reporting.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and expense monitoring.
• Collaborate to oversee fund accounting and investment valuations.
• Monitor fund cash flows, capital calls/distributions, investor reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax and regulatory reporting obligations.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisers and other professional service providers.
• Work as a team to enhance financial controls and reporting efficiency.
• Other ad-hoc accounting and finance duties as necessary.

Our client is a multi-billion private equity fund that theyhave multi-product strategy. As thebusiness continues to grow, they are looking for a Senior Manager, Finance andthe position is based in Singapore. Therole will report to a regional CFO.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full spectrum of accounting and financial reporting for the firm's management company, GP and related corporate entities.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing, financial statements, management reporting and financial analysis.
• Manage the consolidation of financial accounts across the firm's corporate entities, ensuring accurate and timely group financial reporting
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and expense monitoring.
• Collaborate with other team members to oversee fund accounting and investment valuations
• Collabrate with other team members to monitor fund cash flows, capital calls/distributions, investor reports etc
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements and regulatory reporting obligations.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisers and other professional service providers

• Workas a team to enhance financial controls, accounting processes and reportingefficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with a recognised professional qualification (CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
• At least 10 years of Finance and Accounting experience in asset management industry such as private equity, venture capital, private credit etc
• Solid experience in both corporate accounting and private equity fund accounting
• Solid experience in financial consolidation and group reporting
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented. Team-oriented and also able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, responsible, motivated
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and external service providers.
