Job summary

ST Engineering Cloud and Data Centre Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Manager, DCS who will lead the development of technical solutions for DC projects and engage with customers and partners. You will mentor engineers, oversee tender preparation, and ensure compliance with standards.

You will collaborate with sales to frame business challenges and deliver innovative, data centre solutions while maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Engineering with at least 10 years of technical related experience.
• Good knowledge of data centre standards and certifications (TIA 942, BCA-IMDA Green Mark, SS564).
• Data centre technical leadership and ability to lead and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of technical solutions for data centre projects while ensuring standards and client requirements.
• Develop project costing and provide input to Sales for proposals and tender submissions.
• Lead technical presentations and solution discussions with clients and partners.

You should exhibit good listening skills and can establish rapport with customers and team members alike easily.

You will work closely with the sales team and industry partners to engage the customers, frame their business challenges, and come up with innovative and effective solutions for the customers. You should know the data centre competitive landscape well. And you ought to have experience in technical preparation and review of data centre tenders and proposals.

• Lead the development of technical solutions for DC projects, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements.

• Develop project costing and provide accurate and timely input to Sales team to support successful project proposal and submission.

• Lead technical presentation and solution discussions with clients.

• Coach and mentor solution engineers in the design, engineering and implementation of DC solutions.

• Provide technical leadership and support project manager in resolving complex technical or site implementation challenges.

• Prepare and review technical proposal and costing sheets, technical compliance for proposal/tender submission for proposal/tender submission.

• Conduct site surveys and gather of site data (dimensions, site conditions, existing equipment, etc.).

• Manage and oversee the projects to ensure solutions are in order.

Qualities We Value

• Diploma/ Degree in Engineering with at least 10 years of technical related experience.

• Good Knowledge of TIA 942, BCA-IMDA Green Mark for Data Centres, SS564 and related code.

• Data Centre professional certification preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft office.

• Related technical expertise, preferably with experience in Data Centre on systems and products; confident and able to lead and communicate effectively.
