Job summary

ST Engineering is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure across Singapore’s North region. You will manage virtualization environments, implement Nutanix-based solutions, and support AI/ML workloads with Kubernetes, GPUs, and storage optimizations.

The role requires strong Windows/Linux expertise, network fundamentals, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows Server and Linux OS in virtualized environments.
• 3–5 years hands-on virtualization and hypervisor experience (Nutanix preferred).
• Knowledge of VPN, firewall appliances, and basic network switches/routers.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, generative AI, and LLM workloads in cloud environments.
• Understanding infrastructure components for AI/ML workloads in cloud (Kubernetes, GPUs, high‑performance storage).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to convey technical ideas to varied audiences.
• Proactive, analytical, and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor and control technical aspects of cloud infrastructure projects.
• Manage new setup or upgrades of system/network infrastructure.
• Support operational systems to satisfy contractual SLAs.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and operations activities.
• Provide project documentation and reports.
• Diagnose and rectify technical issues promptly.

Qualities We Value

• Knowledge and 3 years hands-on experience with Windows server OS, Linux OS in a virtual environment
• 3-5 years hands-on experience with Virtualization and Hypervisors, Nutanix platform
• Knowledge in VPN, firewall appliances
• Knowledge in network switches/routers
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts, including machine learning models, generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and AI workloads in cloud environments
• Understanding of the infrastructure components for AI/ML workloads in a cloud environment, such as Kubernetes, GPUs, High-Performance Storage and Networking
• Excellent written and verbal communication to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment
• Pro-active, dynamic and with good analytical/conceptual thinking
