Job summary

You will design research instruments, manage messy datasets, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for management decisions.

You will work with program and planning teams, develop dashboards, and respond to ad-hoc data requests, ensuring data governance and clear storytelling in reports.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in data analytics, research, BI or programme evaluation.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data cleaning.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau) and reporting.
• Ability to design surveys and indicators to generate usable evidence.
• Experience reconciling complex datasets and producing traceable analysis.
• Good writing and communication skills for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Clarify management questions and translate data needs into actionable analysis.
• Design and refine surveys and feedback instruments to capture learner profiles and outcomes.
• Consolidate and clean data from multiple sources and datasets.
• Perform descriptive stats, cross-tabs, trend analysis and longitudinal outcome tracking.
• Develop dashboards and data dictionaries to support repeatable reporting.
• Prepare management-ready visuals and slides explaining findings and implications.
• Define outcome indicators and data collection points for pilots and initiatives.
• Respond to ad-hoc data requests with timely, accurate analyses.
