Job summary

The Public Service Division is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager to anchor the Competency-Driven Growth (CDG) narrative across PSD teams and officer audiences. You will translate policy-heavy concepts into simple, relatable messages and drive practical resources that connect growth opportunities to daily work and career development.

You will partner with Communications and policy colleagues to test, refine approaches, and ensure CDG is experienced as a coherent journey.

Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify policy/technical concepts.
Experience in strategic communications and storytelling; turn complex information into a coherent narrative.
Excellent synthesis and conceptual thinking; connect policies, programmes and initiatives.
Strong collaboration skills across teams with different objectives.
Judgement and sensitivity to organisational context; proactive and adaptable.
Willingness to test different ways of communicating and engaging officers.

Responsibilities

Steward the CDG narrative; connect policies, programmes and tools into a coherent officer-facing story.
Design and implement CDG communications approaches that make CDG tangible and actionable for officers.
Coordinate across PSD teams to ensure a coherent CDG experience for officers.
Identify gaps in officer experience and improve content, design and digital communications accordingly.
