Job summary

A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research is seeking a driven professional to engage prospective customers, understand their packaging challenges, and tailor solutions using IME's Advanced Packaging capabilities.

You will monitor technologies such as 2.5D/3D packaging, heterogeneous integration, chiplets and CPO, building a robust pipeline and developing industry collaborations with OSATs and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of heterogeneous integration, chiplets, 2.5D/3D packaging, hybrid bonding or CPO preferred.
• Ability to identify customer opportunities and build business cases.
• Strong presenting and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinking about how packaging technologies create long-term business value.

Responsibilities

• Engage prospective customers to understand their roadmaps and development needs.
• Position tailored solutions leveraging IME's Advanced Packaging capabilities and process expertise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of customer opportunities and industry-funded projects.
• Translate complex technology capabilities into clear customer value and business benefits.
• Monitor emerging technologies and market trends in Advanced Packaging and related areas.
• Assess market demand and adoption for next-generation packaging solutions.
• Identify opportunities and applications including AI computing and data centers.
• Identify and develop partnerships with semiconductor companies, foundries, OSATs, equipment and material suppliers, and ecosystem partners.
• Develop joint development programmes and industry collaborations.
• Evaluate business cases for new research programmes and platforms.
• Coordinate with Technology Development Team to align priorities with customer needs.
