Job summary

Talent Link by e2i is partnering with a Singapore-based manufacturing Industry Partner to recruit a Maintenance Engineer focused on reliability and uptime.

The role involves developing strategic maintenance plans, leading TPM initiatives, and ensuring SOPs are followed, while overseeing major capital projects and managing costs. It also emphasizes building the maintenance team's technical capabilities and a safe, compliant work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to maintain and improve equipment uptime and reliability.
• Develop strategic maintenance plans and lead initiatives to achieve factory equipment reliability targets.
• Ensure maintenance systems and standard operating procedures are consistently followed by all team members.
• Apply TPM tools and methodologies to drive progress through the Planned Maintenance Pillar.
• Oversee the timely and cost-effective execution of major capital investment projects in line with the annual operating plan (AOP) and capital expenditure budget.
• Own and manage maintenance KPIs, including equipment availability, reliability, and downtime performance.
• Develop and enhance the technical competencies of the maintenance team through training and coaching.
• Maintain an organized inventory of critical spare parts, tools, and consumables to support uninterrupted maintenance operations.
• Monitor and control repair and maintenance costs to ensure alignment with budgetary objectives.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry best practices to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment.
• Identify and drive improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, cost control, and maintenance best practices (e.g., Lean, TPM, RCA).
• Conduct training for maintenance personnel on new equipment, safety procedures, and best practices.
