Job summary

Bitdeer, a world-leading technology company in Singapore, is seeking a senior backend engineer to lead the MaaS platform. You will co-own system design with the Principal Architect, define robust API contracts, and drive performance and reliability across a globally distributed workflow.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in backend engineering, deep Go expertise, and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and OpenTelemetry.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience in a high-traffic multi-tenant API platform.
• Proven ability to own platform architecture and drive end-to-end delivery.
• Experience with Go-based services and production Kubernetes environments.

Responsibilities

• Co-own end-to-end MaaS system design with Principal Architect.
• Own inference gateway, API surface, and stable external contracts across formats.
• Optimize performance, cost, and latency in p95/p99 for large-scale deployments.
• Strengthen security, identity, and multi-tenant isolation across services.
• Build and maintain observability and billing metering for billions of events.
