Job summary

STRAITS RETAIL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Technician/Supervisor to plan and oversee building maintenance and M&E systems in Singapore. The role includes supervising contractors, ensuring safety and compliance, and guiding technicians in daily tasks.

The position requires 5+ years' experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle emergencies and high-pressure situations. This is a 1-year contract role based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• ITE or Diploma in a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Technician or Supervisor.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Contract role: 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement maintenance schedules for building systems and M&E equipment.
• Supervise all M&E works by term and ad-hoc contractors, including tenants' fitting-out contractors.
• Ensure all contracted works comply with specifications and statutory requirements.
• Inspect buildings to ensure compliance with safety and fire-safety regulations.
• Regularly inspect M&E plants and air-conditioning equipment and establish follow-up actions.
• Ensure technicians complete daily routine works per SOP/checklist and provide guidance.
• Maintain good rapport with tenants and address complaints.
• Attend to all emergency situations.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records for periodic review.
• Any other duties assigned by superiors.
