Job summary

Top Star Builder Pte. Ltd. requires an experienced Resident Technical Officer (M&E) to oversee building projects in Singapore. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety and quality standards, and adherence to consultant instructions.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in M&E with a valid RTO certificate accredited by IES/ACES and at least 5 years of relevant supervision experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in M&E required.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as RTO for supervision of building projects in Singapore.
Resident Technical Officer Certificate (M&E) accredited by IES/ACES.
Knowledge of institutional projects and statutory codes.

Responsibilities

Understand project specs and drawings; ensure work complies with regulations and client requirements.
Monitor site works to ensure method statements and procedures are followed.
Supervise structural works and identify contractor non-conformities on site.
Ensure builder executes work per consultant's instructions.
Check drawings for discrepancies and propose solutions to prevent delays.
Conduct quality inspections and QC of materials used on site.
Document site inspection records, safety records and approved/as-built drawings.
Maintain site records on progress, housekeeping and reporting.
