Job description

Our client is a well-established regional real estate developer with a strong track record in delivering high-quality commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, and sustainable development projects across Asia.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end planning, design, procurement, execution, and delivery of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems across development projects.
• Provide technical leadership during feasibility studies, design development, budgeting, lifecycle costing, and project planning activities.
• Drive M&E design optimisation, sustainability initiatives, operational efficiency, maintainability, and long-term asset performance.
• Review and approve M&E designs, BIM models, shop drawings, technical submissions, testing and commissioning plans, and as-built documentation.
• Manage consultants, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved within budget, timeline, quality, and safety requirements.
• Evaluate and implement value engineering solutions to enhance project efficiency and commercial outcomes.
• Support tendering, procurement, contract evaluation, and appointment of consultants and specialist contractors.
• Participate in inspections, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), mock-ups, commissioning activities, and project handovers.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, project governance, risk management, quality standards, and workplace safety regulations.
• Provide technical support for asset enhancement initiatives, defect management, replacement works, and operational improvements post-completion.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in M&E project management, design management, construction, or property development projects.
• Proven track record in delivering large-scale commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, industrial, or integrated development projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, fire protection, plumbing & sanitary systems, vertical transportation, and building automation systems.
• Experience managing consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination, design reviews, testing & commissioning, and asset lifecycle management.
• Green building certifications such as BCA Green Mark, LEED, or equivalent will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Salary: up to S$12,000 and bonus (salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications)
