Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of M&E construction experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven experience delivering large projects or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong experience managing testing, commissioning, and integrated systems testing for complex M&E systems.
• Experience managing consultants, subcontractors, vendor teams and multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all M&E works from design through testing, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate M&E activities with clients, consultants, contractors, authorities, vendors and internal teams.
• Review schedules to align M&E deliverables with milestones.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Ensure works meet drawings, specs, quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Lead coordination meetings, technical workshops and progress reviews.
• Review designs, calculations, shop drawings, method statements and submissions for compliance.
• Manage design coordination across disciplines.
• Evaluate proposals, equipment selections and vendor documentation.
• Provide expertise on mission-critical systems including redundancy and reliability.
• Interpret and resolve issues during design and construction.
• Develop Testing and Commissioning strategies and plans.
• Manage FAT, SAT, IST and final commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with commissioning agents, consultants, authorities and vendors.
• Ensure systems meet readiness, performance and reliability before handover.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolve commissioning issues.
• Review test results and as-built documentation.
