Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior M&E & Fire Safety Manager for a multinational Facilities Management client in Central Singapore.

You will lead the M&E team, ensure reliable building operations and drive compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role requires certification in Fire Safety Management, a mechanical/electrical engineering background, and proven leadership in high-rise or mixed-use developments.

Qualifications

• Senior Fire Safety Manager certification is required.
• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 3-5 years' relevant experience, or Diploma with 5-8 years' relevant experience.
• Experience managing high-rise commercial buildings or mixed developments (non-retail).
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the M&E team to ensure smooth and reliable building operations.
• Oversee the daily maintenance and operation of electrical, ACMV, fire protection, lifts, generators and other building systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans, ensuring works are completed safely and within required timelines.
• Manage contractors, vendors and service providers, including maintenance works, tenders and service contracts.
• Oversee tenant fit-out works, ad-hoc projects and improvement initiatives for the building.
• Monitor budgets, expenditure, utilities consumption and sustainability initiatives, including Green Mark requirements.
• Prepare operational reports and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards and audit requirements.
