NTU is seeking an experienced Senior Assistant Manager to join the Office of Development and Facilities Management in Singapore. You will oversee operation and maintenance of M&E systems, manage contractors, and drive upgrades to ensure reliability and compliance.

You will lead asset management, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure safety and governance standards across building services. The role requires strong technical knowledge and on-site supervision capabilities.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Facilities Management.
• At least 5 years’ experience in facilities management or M&E related field.
• Strong technical understanding of building services M&E systems, particularly Fire Protection, Plumbing & Sanitary, and Lift.
• Hands-on experience supervising term contractors on-site and ensuring compliance with safety requirements.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and take ownership.
• Continuous improvement mindset and initiative in improving work processes.

Mansioni

• Oversee operation and maintenance of Fire Protection, Plumbing, Sanitary & Gas, Lift, and ELV systems.
• Monitor maintenance works by term contractors to ensure reliability.
• Review maintenance reports and identify recurring issues.
• Oversee term contractors to meet contract requirements and safety standards.
• Manage asset tracking and lifecycle information.
• Oversee upgrading projects to improve safety and reliability.
• Manage internal stakeholders, consultants and contractors during projects.
