Job summary

Zohorecruit in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Construction Supervisor with at least 5 years of local M&E supervision experience.

You will liaise with consultants, clients and subcontractors on progress, manage materials, equipment and manpower, and enforce safety and QA/QC on site.

Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required, with prior HDB M&E project exposure and the ability to lead a team to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years local experience supervising M&E building works.
• Team leader with good judgment and deadline-driven.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience on HDB M&E projects.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with consultants, clients and subcontractors on the progress of M&E works.
• Manage materials, equipment and manpower in his section to ensure proper and economic usage.
• In-charge of receipt, transfer and control of M&E construction materials in designated area.
• Enforce the implementation of occupational health and safety procedures in accordance to Project Safety manual.
• To implement and monitor that the permit to work system is properly followed on site.
• To follow all QA/QC procedures and implement CONQUAS standard for site works on site.
• Prepare daily report for related works.
• To ensure the progress of works is on schedule.
• Supervise and ensure works are in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate / prepare technical submissions with suppliers / subcontractors.
• Prepare method statement, shop drawings, CSD drawing, installation / T&C check sheets, work progress report and other relevant documents for M&E related works with project teams.
• To assist in updating site work status report.
• Assist the Project Manager on all M&E matters including preparing M&E Master Construction and T&C Schedule.
• Liaise and work with relevant authorities / subcontractors / clients on shop drawings / equipment submissions, inspections, testing requirements and commissioning.
• Hold technical discussions with various stakeholders to resolve technical / site issues.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.
