Job summary

wee poh construction co. (pte.) ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced M&E Engineer to support the construction team on M&E works, plan and coordinate activities, and supervise site progress.

You will ensure compliance with drawings, materials, and method statements while driving quality to meet CONQUAS/QM standards. The role involves liaising with clients, consultants, authorities and subcontractors, monitoring site progress, and handling ad-hoc duties as required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or related fields. PE Board recognized degree is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit or BIM software

Responsibilities

• Support the construction team for M&E engineering works.
• Planning/scheduling and coordination of M&E works.
• Project coordination, supervision, and monitoring of the progress of site work.
• Coordinate M&E engineering work and work closely with other department staff to resolve site discrepancies and technical issues.
• Oversee and ensure works are carried out in accordance with the approved drawings, materials and method statements.
• Ensure quality work in order to achieve CONQUAS and/or QM requirements
• Liaise with clients, consultants, relevant authorities, and sub-contractors on M&E issues.
• Handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned.
