Job summary

KOK TONG CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking an experienced M&E Coordinator for underground MRT projects in Singapore. You will oversee coordination of M&E services, ensure compliance with design and regulatory requirements, and lead on-site teams to deliver safe, quality outcomes.

The role requires a Specialist Diploma in M&E or a Bachelor in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with at least 5 years in an A1 Main Contractor and recognition by LTA as M&E Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess Specialist Diploma in M&E or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in an A1 Main Contractor for underground MRT projects and recognised by LTA as M&E Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Accomplish project objectives within scope, time, cost and quality constraints.
• Coordinate M&E services and prepare models and drawings for submission.
• Integrate Civil, Architectural and M&E elements and coordinate with consultants during design development.
• Lead sub-contractors to ensure timely project deliverables and objectives.
• Prepare progress reports for clients and project manager, addressing delays, defects and rectification.
• Provide technical advice and resolve all M&E issues.
• Report progress to site inspections with contractors and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping to high standards and undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Ensure the projectcomplies withregulations and clients’ specifications
• Coordinate M&E services and prepare CCSM/SEM models and drawings for submission
• Integration of Civil, ArchitecturalandM&E elements and coordinate technical designs with consultants during design development for projects and tenders
• Plan and lead sub-contractors to drive thetimelycompletionofproject deliverables and objectives
• Prepare reports to clients and project manager on progress, delays,defectsand rectification measures for the M&E works
• Providetechnical advice and resolve all M&E technical issues
• Reportingthe progress of M&E works and arrangingsite inspections with system-wide contractors, sub-contractors and clerk-of-works
• Adhere to safety and health regulations and aim for zero accident in the workplace
• Ensure safety and housekeeping is tobe maintainedto the highest standard
• Undertakeother ad-hoc duties as and when assigned
