Job summary

Wee Poh Construction Co (Pte) Ltd in Singapore is seeking a senior M&E Engineer to lead and coordinate mechanical and electrical works on major construction projects. You will supervise site activities, ensure adherence to drawings, materials, and method statements, and collaborate with the project team to resolve technical issues.

The ideal candidate holds a PE Board recognized degree or equivalent, has at least 8 years of relevant experience, and is proficient in Autodesk Revit or BIM

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or related field.
• PE Board recognized degree preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Support M&E engineering works for construction projects.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate M&E activities.
• Supervise site progress and resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate M&E with other departments and stakeholders.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, materials, and method statements.
• Meet CONQUAS and QM quality requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities and subcontractors.
• Handle ad-hoc duties as required.

Job Responsibilities

• To support the construction team for M&E engineering works.
• Planning/scheduling and coordination of M&E works.
• Project coordination, supervision, and monitoring of the progress of site work.
• Coordinate M&E engineering work and work closely with other department staff to resolve site discrepancies and technical issues.
• Oversee and ensure works are carried out in accordance with the approved drawings, materials and method statements.
• Ensure quality work in order to achieve CONQUAS and/or QM requirements
• Liaise with clients, consultants, relevant authorities, and sub-contractors on M&E issues.
• Handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or related fields. PE Board recognized degree is preferred
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit or BIM software
