Job summary

Capella Hotel Singapore is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to drive business through direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, appointment calls and tours of the residences and hotel. You will develop strategic action plans to increase revenue from luxury residences and hotel sales in Singapore.

The role requires a Diploma in Hospitality Management and at least 5 years of experience in luxury hospitality or real estate sales, with strong selling skills and proficiency in Microsoft

Qualifications

• Diploma in Hospitality Management.
• Minimum 5 years working experience in luxury residences, hotels or real estate sales.
• Good selling skills and understanding of sales processes.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Knowledge in S&C Opera Cloud.
• Able to train new team members.

Responsibilities

• Conduct long stay residences' or hotel inspections for clients.
• Conduct negotiation of sales contracts.
• Develop consultative selling and upselling strategies to maximise room sales.
• Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations.
• Conduct minimum 20 sales activities per week including sales call, entertainment and site inspections.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to meet guests' and/or customers' requirements in the sales contracts.
• Handles and responds to escalated guest and/or customer enquiries and requests in a timely manner.
• Meet or exceed individual and department sales target that is set by the management.
• Accurately forecast the covers and revenues for each client.
• Analyse competitor landscape and customer demand to identify sales opportunities.
