Job summary

Wood is seeking a Principal Piping Engineer - LNG to lead the piping group for complex LNG projects. The role requires deep LNG experience, leadership across multi-disciplinary teams, and the ability to drive design quality and timely delivery.

Applicants should have a mechanical engineering background with extensive experience in cryogenic piping, PDS/PDMS, and EPC/FEED environments. This role is based in Singapore and offers global project exposure and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Mechanical engineering degree with 15+ years LNG/refinery/chemical plant experience.
Lead position on about 5 projects.
LNG receiving terminal experience is mandatory.
PM/PMC experience is preferable.
Knowledge of Plot Plan and Equipment Layout, Piping Layout.

Responsibilities

Oversee Piping group operation and ensure timely completion within budget.
Ensure design quality and technical accuracy of drawings and quantities.
Execute work per contract procedures and standards.
Adhere to Wood procedures for safety in design and execution.
Coordinate with Project Eng. Manager & Area Engineers on needs affecting schedule.
Prepare, review, issue, and follow up piping deliverables to construction.
