Job summary

vsv engineering & construction pte. ltd. is seeking a seasoned supervisor to oversee lift installation projects on Singapore sites.

You will ensure adherence to installation checklists, welding standards, and local codes, while guiding a team through installation activities and quality control. The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory lift/escalator experience, knowledge of regulations, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in lift and escalator projects.
• Experience in lift testing and commissioning is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of lift installation procedures and local regulations.
• Basic written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to lead 5-6 teams and train junior technicians to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation works to ensure strict alignment with installation checklists, welding standards, and local codes.
• Monitor project progress against planned schedules and maintain quality control throughout the installation lifecycle.
• Report damaged, defective, or short-shipped parts to the Person-in-Charge (PIC).
• Must install one lift and lead 5-6 teams while training junior technicians to work independently.

• Basic written and spoken English communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a construction site environment.
• Must do installation of one lift and also lead 5-6 teams and train junior technicians to be able to work individually.
