Job summary

Manulife Singapore invites a hands-on Pricing Manager to own lifecycle pricing for new and enhanced life insurance products, with a focus on IUL. You will develop and validate pricing models, run profitability analyses, and prepare governance materials for senior leadership.

You will collaborate across Product, IT and Operations, translate features into system specs, support UAT and product launches, and mentor junior actuarial staff while contributing to a collaborative, inclusive team

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant actuarial experience in life insurance.
• Hands-on pricing experience including modelling and product implementation.
• Strong hands-on AXIS experience and ability to transition to AXIS.
• Proven ability to own workstreams and communicate pricing to senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Independently own pricing workstreams end to end for new life insurance products and enhancements.
• Build, enhance and run actuarial pricing models hands-on, including development, validation and documentation.
• Perform profitability analysis, sensitivity and scenario testing, and assess pricing assumptions and risks.
• Prepare pricing documentation for governance and present recommendations to leadership.
• Translate approved product features and pricing specs into system requirements for implementation.
• Develop and review test scenarios, support UAT, validate system calculations and outputs.
• Coordinate pricing and implementation aspects across projects and stakeholders.
• Review actuarial work of junior colleagues and provide mentoring.
