Job summary

Allianz Commercial in Singapore seeks an experienced Underwriter to drive profitable liability business locally and regionally. You will own accounts, negotiate terms and pricing with brokers, and oversee international program underwriting within the LoB.

Qualifications

Experience in risk assessment for Liability LoB and familiarity with pharmaceutical portfolios is preferred.
Knowledge of regional/local LoB insurance markets and regulatory frameworks.
Completion of professional insurance qualification (e.g. CII) is desirable.

Responsibilities

Underwrite profitable new and renewal accounts to meet local/regional LoB targets.
Negotiate participation, pricing, and terms with brokers and clients.
Underwrite international programs for applicable LoBs and manage capacity.
Ensure contract certainty and use of global pricing tools at inception.
Support policy documentation, file maintenance and credit control processes.
Lead regional underwriting strategy and coach junior staff.
