Senior Lending Product Strategy Lead

Job summary

CIMB Singapore is seeking a seasoned Product Leader to own the end-to-end lending strategy for Commercial Banking. You will oversee a broad portfolio, align with local regulations, and drive data-informed decisions to improve customer outcomes.

You will lead a team of product managers and data analysts, collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Credit and Risk, and establish KPIs and dashboards used by senior management to monitor performance and risk across the lending suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
• Strong experience in product management, strategy or sales, preferably in financial services or fintech.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments/functions.
• Experience in product and credit matters for Commercial Banking segment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to analysis data and provide valuable insights.
• Good communication skills, written and spoken with the ability to communicate at all levels.
• Planning and organizing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the end-to-end lending product strategy and roadmap (products owned by Commercial Banking).
• Maintain holistic view for all products offered to Commercial Banking customers including non-lending products.
• Ensure alignment with the business unit’s strategic objectives and local market regulations.
• Leverage quantitative and qualitative data—including A/B testing, user research, and market analysis to inform product decisions, identify customer pain points, and continuously iterate on lending product suite.
• Lead a team of product managers and data analysts to drive execution of strategic products / projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
• Cultivate strong relationships with senior leadership, regional stakeholders, and external partners, and navigate complex stakeholder dynamics to build robust, scalable lending products.
• Collaborate with Product Commercialization and other distribution team (Sales/Branch/Marketing) to define and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for new lending products, and ongoing campaigns and incentives for existing product suite.
• Work closely with Credit and Risk and own credit-related matters to lending products.
• Oversee the design and management of E2E process flows relating to the product, with clear and concise documentation and the develop a robust product / process library.
• Establish clear success metrics (KPIs) for the lending portfolio and oversee the development of key performance management dashboards for senior management.
• Lead engagement with key regulatory, risk, and audit stakeholders in all product development and management matters.
