Senior Lecturer / Lecturer Position in Mathematical Sciences

At this position you will be a part of the Division of Mathematical Sciences (MAS) at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS). Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in mathematics or a closely related field with demonstrated expertise in modelling and simulation. The successful applicant will play a key role in teaching and practice‑oriented research, with a focus on industry engagement and interdisciplinary applications.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Master of Science in Modelling and Simulation program and contribute to undergraduate teaching.
• Supervise student projects and provide academic mentoring.
• Lead or participate in applied research, consultancy, and projects that bridge mathematics with real‑world applications.
• Support and promote the MSc program through active engagement with industry partners.
• Contribute to enhancing the quality and visibility of the MSc program, particularly through practice‑based innovation and cross‑disciplinary collaboration.
