Job summary

NYP International is seeking industry-experienced developers and engineers to join the Game Development & Technology academic team to shape future-ready learners through curricular design and mentorship.

You will deliver curricula in game programming and emerging tech, mentor students, and drive innovation in applied projects, while collaborating with educators and industry partners to enhance teaching practice.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in game development and software development.
• Qualification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Game Development or related field.
• Proficiency with Unity or Unreal Engine; programming in C#, C++ and/or Python.
• Teaching or curriculum development experience is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative mindset.
• Able to work in an interdisciplinary academic environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver curriculum for diploma/specialist courses in game programming and emerging tech.
• Coach and mentor students in technical development and industry-based projects.
• Lead applied projects and industry collaborations in AI, XR and real-time systems.
• Facilitate student exchanges, immersion programmes and study trips.
• Engage in outreach activities such as open houses, competitions, hackathons.
• Develop digital and online learning content to support blended and self-paced learning.
• Take on academic administrative tasks including course coordination and assessment planning.
• Collaborate with educators and industry partners to improve teaching practice.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and pedagogical trends.
