Job summary

NYP International invites seasoned game developers and educators to join the Game Development & Technology (GDT) academic team in Singapore. You will design and deliver curricula in game programming and emerging technologies, mentor students, and drive innovation in applied projects.

You will lead course development, coordinate with colleagues and industry partners, stay current with trends, and help learners become employable through hands-on studio-style pedagogy.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in game design, production, or related roles.
• Qualification in Game Design/Production/Development or Interactive Media.
• Proficiency with Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Portfolio of shipped titles or project work.
• Experience in teaching, mentoring, curriculum development is advantageous.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in interdisciplinary academic environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver curriculum for diploma courses in game design and production.
• Mentor multidisciplinary student teams through the full development lifecycle.
• Model studio production practices with milestones, Agile/Scrum, and leadership.
• Coordinate student exchanges, immersion programmes and study trips.
• Engage in outreach activities such as open houses and game jams.
• Develop high-quality digital learning content for blended and self-paced learning.
• Handle academic admin tasks including course coordination and assessment planning.
• Collaborate with educators and industry partners to improve curriculum.
• Stay current with industry trends and pedagogy to ensure learner employability.
