Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer within Asset and Wealth Management. You will be a core technical contributor driving secure, scalable, market-leading tech products and leading a scrum team.

Responsibilities include setting direction for testing, SDLC, and best practices, while enabling AI-assisted development and ensuring code quality and reliability across multiple services and platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Commercial experience with React and Java in enterprise settings.
• Experience designing scalable microservices using RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS, and web tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery of value-add activities as part of a scrum team and governance of the platform.
• Lead developers; set direction on testing, platform framework, and SDLC best practices.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging.
• Promote enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and delivery speed.
• Apply SDLC tools and automation to improve value and automate recurring issues.
