Job summary

MICHAEL PAGE INTERNATIONAL PTE LTD is seeking a senior leader to drive a major healthcare infrastructure development in Singapore. You will oversee planning across design, construction, commissioning and handover, aligning architectural, structural, M&E and clinical workflow needs with operational requirements.

The role requires a decade of relevant leadership experience in major infrastructure, ideally healthcare, with strong governance, contract administration and stakeholder management

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Civil & Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or a related built-environment discipline.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience for Assistant Director level, with more extensive leadership experience for Deputy Director roles.
• Experience delivering major infrastructure, institutional or healthcare developments from design through construction and practical completion.
• Exposure to hospital, healthcare, laboratory or other technically complex facilities is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of design management, construction delivery, contract administration and project governance.
• Familiarity with public-sector contracting frameworks (e.g., PSSCOC, government procurement) and regulatory requirements would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and technical oversight of a large-scale healthcare development across design, construction, commissioning and handover stages.
• Represent the healthcare operator in reviewing architectural, structural, M&E and healthcare infrastructure solutions against operational requirements.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to translate workflows, equipment needs and user requirements into practical facility solutions.
• Monitor programme milestones, risks, technical issues, variations and design changes with governance and documentation.
• Coordinate with developers, consultants, contractors and public-sector stakeholders to align scope, schedule and quality.
• Oversee contract administration matters including variations, claims, extensions of time and contractor obligations under public-sector frameworks.
• Lead operational readiness and technical handover activities, including inspections, defects management and readiness for clinical operations.
