Job summary

A*STAR RESEARCH ENTITIES is seeking a specialist to design and maintain a scalable knowledge graph. You will build ETL pipelines to ingest sensor logs, manuals, and reports, and implement NLP pipelines to extract entities and relations for graph-ready data.

You will translate prototypes into production-grade software with testing, monitoring, and documentation, while ensuring data quality and provenance across domains.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining production graph database schemas and query layers.
• Proficient in Python and data pipeline frameworks with testing and documentation.
• Familiarity with NLP tooling for information extraction and document parsing.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain graph database schema, storage architecture, and query layer; own performance, scalability, and reliability as data grows.
• Build ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest structured and unstructured data into the knowledge graph with validation checks.
• Implement NLP pipelines for entity and relation extraction turning technical text into graph-ready triples.
