Job summary

Singtel Group is seeking an experienced Senior AI Knowledge Engineer to design and operate knowledge-system components, including graphs, embeddings, and memory stores, for enterprise AI use cases. You will build processing pipelines and ensure data quality across ingestion, transformation, and retrieval stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in data engineering, AI engineering, knowledge engineering, or cloud-scale analytics solution delivery.
• Hands-on experience building production or near-production data/knowledge-system components.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data transformation and validation.
• Familiarity with PySpark and large-scale data processing concepts.
• Experience with vector/graph databases and knowledge-store technologies, embeddings, semantic retrieval, and access-controlled retrieval patterns.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with senior engineers, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, maintainable components.

Responsibilities

• Build, integrate, and operate AI knowledge system components (graphs, memory stores, vector databases, retrieval pipelines).
• Develop data prep, embedding, indexing, and retrieval workflows using Databricks, Python, SQL, and graph/vector databases.
• Deliver reliable, secure knowledge assets for enterprise search, RAG, and AI assistants.
• Implement knowledge base, RAG, and memory-store components per architecture patterns for scalable GenAI/ML/Analytics use cases.
• Create real-time context stores for Agents to access shared customer contexts.
• Maintain ingestion, transformation, embedding, indexing, and retrieval workflows with traceability and reliability.
• Ensure data quality, monitor pipelines, and perform root-cause analysis on runs.
• Support production readiness, including observability, incident triage, and runbook improvements.
• Integrate pipelines with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Delta Lake, and other platform components.
• Develop knowledge graphs: entity models, relationship mappings, ontology schemas, and graph interfaces for AI retrieval and reasoning.
