Job summary

Ampstek is seeking an experienced Kafka Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize streaming data pipelines in a cloud environment. You will work with Java, Python or Scala, and implement event-driven architectures across distributed systems to ensure low-latency, reliable data flows.

The role requires hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka tools and cloud platforms, plus strong collaboration and problem-solving skills to support multi-cloud deployments and monitoring in production environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (any distribution: open-source, Confluent, Cloudera, AWS MSK, etc.)
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala
• Solid understanding of event-driven architecture and data streaming patterns
• Experience deploying Kafka on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
