Job summary

GECO Asia Pte Ltd seeks a Kafka Solution Engineer to design, implement, and support scalable real-time streaming platforms within enterprise environments. You will closely collaborate with data engineering, architecture, and DevOps teams to deploy Kafka across cloud and containerized environments, optimize performance, and ensure reliability.

Hands-on experience with Kafka, Confluent, and cloud deployments is essential, along with strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Scala.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on Kafka experience, incl. Confluent.
• Proficient in Java, Python, or Scala.
• Experience deploying Kafka on cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) and using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Kafka platforms and streaming solutions.
• Support Kafka architecture, cluster management, and performance.
• Deploy Kafka across cloud and containerized environments.
• Develop real-time data pipelines and integrations.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects, DevOps, and other teams.
• Provide guidance and contribute to design and documentation.
