Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore seeks a Software Engineer to ensure MEPS+ reliability. You will review code, validate security findings, oversee test automation, and support audits. The role includes on-call incident response, production troubleshooting, and contributing to quality standards across the platform.

You will collaborate with vendors and operations to strengthen incident management, performance targets, and deployment readiness while upholding robust security practices.

Qualifications

• Design and implement Java applications with security and quality in mind.
• Hands-on automated testing with Selenium/Watermelon or equivalent.
• Production support, debugging and root-cause analysis.
• Familiarity with secure coding and vulnerability assessment.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and enterprise tech stacks.

Responsibilities

• Code review of internal and vendor enhancements against designs and standards.
• Lead security scan validation and remediation with QA and audit support.
• Validate technical solutions for new features against performance and security needs.
• Develop contingency plans and participate in drills; provide audit evidence.
• Maintain and enhance test automation and release verification.
• Respond to production incidents and contribute to post-incident reviews.
