Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in its Corporate and Investment Banking, Equities - Structuring and Trading Technology team in Singapore. The role focuses on building trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner.

You will guide teams, craft robust software, and influence design choices across multiple technologies. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of software engineering experience with Java mastery and hands-on cloud native delivery,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related disciplines.
10+ years of software engineering experience with mastery in Java for trading system design, coding, testing and delivery.
Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced knowledge of one or more programming languages.
Cloud native experience.
Experience in CS/CE/Math or related technical field.

Responsibilities

Provides technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors and vendors.
Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews others' code.
Drives decisions influencing product design, functionality, and operations.
Serves as a function-wide SME in one or more areas.
Contributes to SDLC frameworks, tools, and practices.
Influences peers and decision-makers to adopt leading-edge technologies.
