Job summary

ACP Computer Training School is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop and deliver an AFC system and back office software. You will work with the development team to gather requirements, document SDLC artifacts, and support day-to-day operation.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in enterprise apps, strong Java/JEE, Spring, cloud, containerization and microservices experience, plus communication skills in English. Knowledge of AFC, PCI DSS, Solace is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/IT/Engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience across a full SDLC with SDLC documentation.
• Extensive Java/JEE, web apps on UNIX/Linux and Windows.
• Web app development and DB interfacing (JDBC/SQL).
• Experience with Agile, Spring Framework, Spring Boot.
• Experience in modernization, containers, microservices.
• Experience with message queues and Solace.
• Cloud computing, Kubernetes, Docker; AWS services a plus.
• DB design, performance tuning; AFC and PCI DSS knowledge a plus.
• Strong analytical and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test and deliver AFC system software.
• Gather requirements and liaise with users on design/testing.
• Prepare SDLC deliverables and documentation.
• Provide day-to-day application support with the Authority.
• Collaborate with development team on architecture and delivery.
