Job summary

ACP Computer Training & Consultancy Pte Ltd is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop and deliver a high‑volume AFC system backend. You will work with the development team across requirements, architecture, coding, testing and documentation for enterprise applications.

The role requires extensive Java/JEE experience, Spring framework, containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, and AWS services.

Qualifications

Recognised degree in Computer Science, IT or engineering.
At least 5 years’ relevant software development experience.
SDLC experience with documentation output.
Extensive experience in Java/JEE, web programming on UNIX/Linux/Windows.
Proficiency with SQL and DAO; MySQL, PostgreSQL experience.
Spring Framework and Spring Boot experience.
Software Modernization, Containerization, Microservices exposure.
Agile development methodology and CI/CD familiarity.
Experience with Requirements/Use Case/Design docs; UML modeling.
AWS ECS and Docker containerization with DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, document, test and deliver AFC system software.
Gather requirements and liaise with users on design/testing issues.
Prepare deliverables: SRS, Architecture, Design, Interface specs, code, tests, manuals.
Provide day-to-day application support and maintenance.
Collaborate with authority on requirements and testing issues.
