Job summary

Luxoft is partnering with a leading Southeast Asian investment bank to deliver a platform for end-to-end processing of structured products, with current focus on equity derivatives. You will lead the development of highly available REST APIs, streaming and batch processes using Java and the Spring ecosystem, Kafka, MongoDB and PostgreSQL.

The role emphasizes clean code, test-driven development, and end-to-end project ownership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years overall experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of equity derivatives.
• Experience in multi-tiered and distributed applications and service architectures.
• Building RESTful web services and understanding REST constraints.
• Experience with CI/CD and build tools (Gradle/Maven).
• Experience with Jenkins, Git-based version control, and code review practices.
• End-to-end execution of development and release phases.
• Ability to translate requirements into software design artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end REST, streaming and batch applications using Java and Spring.
• Drive implementation and experimentation of new solutions with focus on clean code and TDD.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams and review designs for robustness and performance.

• Our client(One of the largest investment banks in Southeast Asia) is building a platform for end-to-end processing of Structured products with current focus on Equity derivatives. Primary objective is to build a robust platform which caters to the existing pain points without compromising on the required efficiencies .

Responsibilities:

• Individual contributor and ability to demonstrate advanced software coding skills, a solid grasp of software architecture and object oriented design concepts and design patterns
• Successful candidate will drive the implementation, experimentation of new solution/application initiatives. Looking for one who loves clean code and test driven development (TDD)
• End to end development of highly available REST API, streaming and batch applications using Java and Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Integration, MVC, Security, Data, Batch etc), Kafka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL etc.

Mandatory Skills De ion:

• Overall 8+ years of experience in Java
