Job summary

u3 infotech pte. ltd. is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a 12-month renewable contract in Singapore, onsite at Punggol. The role focuses on enterprise Java development, SDLC participation, and integration via FIX Protocol.

You will work with business users, project managers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and external partners to deliver scalable solutions with robust production support and documentation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Java/J2EE development experience.
• Experience with Apache, JBoss and MQ technologies.
• Scripting in Shell, Perl, or Python.
• Unix/Linux environment experience with Oracle/Sybase databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support enterprise applications using Java/J2EE.
• Participate in the full SDLC including BRD, FSD, testing and deployment.
• Design and support FIX Protocol interfaces for order routing and trading.
• Develop and maintain message-driven integrations with Apache, JBoss, and MQ.
• Provide production support and optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with business users, PMs, infra teams, vendors and partners.

Senior Java Developer

Location:Punggol (Onsite)
Duration:12-month renewable contract

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications usingJava/J2EEtechnologies.
• Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including business requirement analysis (BRD), functional specifications (FSD), technical design, development, testing (Unit, SIT, UAT), deployment, go-live planning, and production support.
• Design and supportFIX Protocolinterfaces for order routing, execution, and trade processing.
• Develop and maintain message-driven integrations usingApache, JBoss, and MQtechnologies.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize system performance.
• Work closely with business users, project managers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and external partners to deliver stable and scalable solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and deployment documentation while ensuring compliance with security and architectural standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience inJava/J2EEapplication development.
• Experience withApache,JBoss, and message queue (MQ) technologies.
• Strong scripting skills usingShell, Perl, or Python.
• Solid experience working inUnix/Linuxenvironments.
• Good database development experience withOracleandSybase(MS SQL is an advantage).
