Job summary

Allegis Group Singapore Pte Ltd is recruiting an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a mission-critical trade processing engineering team. This platform handles high-volume, low-latency securities processing, emphasizing reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.

You will design and develop high-performance Java applications, optimize JVM performance, and work with Kafka/JMS, SQL, and AWS in a distributed, event-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong understanding of JVM internals and performance tuning.
• Experience with multithreading and concurrency.
• Experience building distributed, event-driven systems.
• Knowledge of Kafka, JMS, or similar messaging technologies.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• AWS experience.
• Excellent troubleshooting and production support experience.
